In all the ways you can. In all the places you can.
At all the times you can. To all the people you can.
As long as ever you can.”

Hays-Lodgepole Consolidated School District
The towns of Hays and Lodge Pole are located on the Fort Belknap Reservation in North Central Montana.
Currently there are 268 students Kindergarten- 12 Grade. Approximately 20 of these students are special needs. 90 students live in foster care, with more in non-parent households (grandparents, uncles, aunts etc.). Other factors that influence how successful these students are; poverty, meth epidemic, depression (5 students died by suicide this past summer), and lack of parental involvement. The ACT Composite for 2019 was 14.6 compared to Montana’s overall at 20.3 is just one result of these students environment.
Living Waters and Bozeman UMC have teamed together with the Hays-Lodge Pole School District to provide some needed supplies such as hygiene supplies, cold weather clothing, and to start a book collection for a summer reading program for all ages(a program which has not been done before). Below are some lists that were put together of items that are most needed.
If you have more questions please contact Nancy Pearson through the church office.
Please bring any items to the church, they will be sent to Hays in the middle of May.
